AuxDock

The AuxDock™ is a performance surface that slides up from the bottom of the screen and turns your device into a live music rig. Guitar effects pedals, a keyboard, a chord arpeggiator, [ambient tracks](tabs/pads], a drum machine, vocal processor, multitrack mixer, and more all live here so you can work on your tone without losing your place. What's more, every change you make get saved with the song you're on so there's no more fiddling with knobs and buttons between songs.

Unlock The Dock

The AuxDock is unlocked by the OnSong® AuxBox — the audio interface that integrates all your gear on stage. Plug in an AuxBox and the AuxDock appears in your Widgets Menu from then on. Just open the Additions Menu from the menubar, choose the Widgets tab, and toggle the AuxDock option that appears.

The AuxDock will automatically open when you connect your AuxBox. You can change this setting in the AuxDock Menu by toggling the Open When Connected option.

Handle Bar

The top of the AuxDock is called the handle bar. It has a minimize button, a grabber handle, and an options button.

Minimize Button

The left most button is used to minimize the dock. Tap it to drop the dock down until only the handle bar appears. Tap on the handle bar to bring the AuxDock back into view.

Grabber Bar

In the middle of the handle bar is the grabber bar. Drag anywhere on the dock to shrink or expand the AuxDock by removing or adding panels.

Options Button

On the right side of the handle bar is the options button. Tap to open the AuxDock Menu where you can control what appears in the AuxDock and how it looks.

To close the AuxDock completely, use the Close button in the menu or toggle the AuxDock on and off in the Widgets Menu.

Tabs

Tabs are a saved arrangement of the dock that include which panels are showing, in what order, and the tone that goes with them. Switching tabs shows different sets of panels so that "I'm playing guitar this song" and "I'm covering keys on the next one" are one tap away.

The default AuxDock starts you with eight tabs, each built around a job: Guitar, Keys, Pads, Chords, Vocals, Drums, Tracks and Mixer. You can rename them, recolor them, add your own, and delete the ones you never use using the Tabs Panel.

Panels

Panels are the horizontal band inside the dock. Tabs can combine these to create more interesting features. For instance, the Keys tab is comprised of both a Toneboard and a Keyboard that work together. A tab can show one panel or several stacked together, and each panel can be switched on and off independently from the panels section of the AuxDock menu.

Panels always stack in the same order no matter which ones you switch on, so the dock never rearranges itself under your fingers. Use Rearrange… option in the menu if you'd like a different order.
