OnSong 2022.6
OnSong 2022.6 was phase-released on October 18, 2022. The following items have been added, changed or fixed:
New
- SongSelect 2.0 is now available with ChordPro and new PDF formatting options.
- CCLI® Auto-Reporting can send when songs you've used so you don't need to report manually.
- Vocal Cues can say the name of the song, section, lyrics, chord, and more to cue musicians with in-ears.
- Broadcast MIDI sends system exclusive messages with song and section changes.
- ProPresenter 7 Integration lets you control presentation software from inside OnSong.

- Added the ability to import ChordPro files using the new SongSelect API. »

Changes
- Changed the set editor to use compact date/time pickers and be more concise. »
- Changed the custom report editor to use compact date pickers and be more concise.
- Changed the metronome settings to bring common settings to the first panel instead of mixed with audio/visual settings. »
- Changed all import screens to import what was selected but not to automatically return to the song list unless a Done button is pressed.
- Changed the way existing files is determined to be more centralized and to handle ZIP files and archive files better.
- Changed the way the ChordPro original key tag is being interpreted to just provide metadata about the key in which the song was originally performed.
- Changed the styles preferences chord screen to highlight the original key if set.
- Changed how PDF files print footer text to omit it on files that are not text-based.
- Changed the web action and media video player so that once picture-in-picture mode is enabled, the hosting view controller is closed.
- Changed the scroll down/up to switch to by section if the preview widget is enabled.
- Changed portions of the codebase that were setting off private framework warnings in the App Store.
- Changed how the current library is known to avoid conflicts with standard settings.

- Updated the app to include a registered trademark symbol to ChordPro.
Fixes
- Fixed an issue where content in sot/eot tags including a colon are not rendering.
- Fixed an issue where the launch screen shows as narrow and tall on the left side under iPadOS 16.
- Fixed an issue where backing tracks are not being able to play after paused when using the same track using device playback.
- Fixed an issue where previewing an Internet song to import can cause the song to be saved to the library.
- Fixed an issue where the backup file is not being uploaded from the Get Support screen.
- Fixed an issue where MIDI globals could not be added to a MIDI Send action.
- Fixed an issue where chords are being aligned to the left when processed for ChordPro compatibility.
- Fixed an issue where settings are not being saved and restored when switching libraries such as the backup name.
- Fixed an issue where the incorrect key in a text attachment would overwrite the proper key even after editing the song content.
- Fixed an issue where the PDF file could not be previewed on a Mac due to background PDF generation.
- Fixed an issue with vertical spacing when viewing PraiseCharts ChordPro with compatibility processing disabled.
- Fixed an issue where switching collections shouldn’t load the items in the viewer until a song is selected.
- Fixed an issue connecting to bridges used for lighting like ArtNET DMX, Philips hue and LIFX.
- Fixed an issue where you can’t transpose unless connected to the Internet when viewing PraiseCharts ChordPro.
- Fixed an issue where the Done button does not work when editing a set from the Organizer menu.
- Fixed an issue where books and collections are truncated when adding songs.
- Fixed an issue where white text is appearing on a white background in the Spotify search bar when using low light mode.
- Fixed an issue where you can't select a track on Spotify when using an iPhone.
- Fixed an issue where text was showing as black on black when viewing Spotify search results on an iPhone in low light mode.
- Fixed an issue where the Dsus2 chord diagram is not shown.
- Fixed an issue where the search text appearing white in the Spotify search screen.
- Fixed a crash condition when printing sets containing embedded PDF files.
