OnSong 2019.7
OnSong 2019.7 was released on August 7, 2019. The following items have been added, changed or fixed:
Additions
- Added the ability to import and export via SFTP. »
- Added the ability to specify MIDI and scenes for sections using the song editor. »
- Added the ability to display the notes being played in the chord diagram. »
- Added the ability to change how chord lines are rendered when there are non-chords on the same line. »
- Added actions to immediately navigate to the top/bottom of a song. »
- Added the ability to scrub the current time of the currently playing backing track through a variable action. »

- Changed the Display Finger Positions option to Display Note with options for (None, Finger Position, and Letter) »
- Changed the names of the Autoscroll » Speed » Up/Down to Increase/Decrease. »
- Changed the names of volume actions to "Increase/Decrease" instead of "Up/Down". »
- Changed lyrics projection Lyrics action to Show/Hide/Toggle instead of just Clear. »
- Changed the term Gradient to Overlay in the Lyrics Projection action category for consistency. »
- Changed how pedal navigation triggers are specified in the foot pedal settings menu to use the full actions chooser. »
- Changed the Get Support screen language to avoid issues with people writing everything in the subject. »
- Changed the photocopy restrictions to display an alert when attempting to screen capture.
- Changed the size of hot corners on iPhone to use 1/3 of the width of the screen instead of 1/4.
- Changed Last Played sorting option to show last played date as the byline to avoid being truncated.
- Changed how MIDI is initialized to be asynchronous to speed boot times and provide error notification.
- Changed the naming of MIDI events to be more consistent.
- Changed the MIDI command/event name to output the value of a control change when set.
- Changed the MIDI command/event name to output the velocity of a note when set.
- Changed the song search feature to not take punctuation into account.
Fixes
- Fixed a crash condition when opening the style preferences menu on iOS 9.
- Fixed an issue with Bluetooth MIDI not registering as a source or destination in iOS 12 and higher.
- Fixed an issue where you can rearrange MIDI global events below the Add MIDI Event row.
- Fixed an issue where searches using accented characters are not finding songs in the song list and quick pick.

- Fixed an issue where WAV files could not be opened via standard activity menus or AirDrop.
- Fixed an issue where the presence of a colon at the end of a line with a space will prevent that line from appearing in lyrics projection.
- Fixed an issue where the presence of a vertical bar on a lyric line would cause the line to not appear in lyrics projection.
- Fixed an issue regarding slashes, spaces, and inline tags for Chromecast lyrics projection.
- Fixed an issue where commented lines were being processed for key and capo modulation.
- Fixed an issue where playing break music via another app and using the control center causes the audio to cease after about 5 seconds, but only when OnSong was running.
- Fixed an issue where AIFF file were not importing from AirDrop.
- Fixed an issue that causes the previous audio track to play on a song where none is selected.
- Fixed an issue where the sticky note format menu is hidden by the keyboard in portrait orientation.
- Fixed an issue in the export screen where when you have one menu open, you can't tap on another icon to open that menu. You have to close out of the first menu and then tap on the second menu.
- Fixed an issue with metric conversion in the Document tab of Style Preferences menu.
- Fixed an issue where the books menu on the latest iOS 13 iPhone does not show text.
