User Interface

OnSong be designed t' let ye focus on what be important, yer music. Th' OnSong interface be divided into these main areas:

Contextual Help

Throughout th' OnSong^® app ye can tap on a ? icon next t' th' title o' th' menu t' access th' user manual, videos, an' other help on that specific portion o' th' app, savvy?

Status Bar

Th' status bar be provided by th' operatin' system an' provides information such as th' current time, networkin', an' battery status.

Menubar

Th' menubar contains access t' all th' functions fer managin' yer library an' th' songs ye be viewin'.

Song Viewer

Most o' th' main interface displays th' currently active song, matey. There be special regions that overlay th' song viewer which provides tools ye can use while performin'.

Live Bar

In th' lower right portion o' th' screen be th' live bar which contains large buttons that can be activated durin' a live performance. Arrr! These include autoscrollin', startin' an' stoppin' a backin' track, startin' or stoppin' th' metronome, an' togglein' ad-hoc networkin' mode.

Sign-In

When ye first open OnSong, ye'll need t' sign into OnSong t' use paid features, savvy? Ye can easily create an account with just yer email address, or sign in usin' popular authentication services. If ye've already signed into OnSong, th' Getting Started screen may be displayed instead.

Gestures

There be a few optional gestures ye can use t' quickly access th' menubar an' songs menu, me hearty.

Compact Mode

If ye be usin' OnSong on an iPhone or iPod Touch, th' user interface be different t' better suit those form factors, Avast!
