Song Viewer
Song viewer settin's effect how th' song viewer in OnSong behaves. Options include:
Flash Message
OnSong can "flash" information on th' screen includin' messages. Ye can configure messages here, matey:
Duration
OnSong will keep flashed text up fer a length o' time based on th' number o' words th' message contains. This be set by default t' 0.3 seconds per word plus a standard fade out delay o' 0.3 seconds. Ye can adjust how long messages stay on th' screen by adjustin' this slider, savvy? Movin' th' slider t' th' left will leave messages on th' screen less time. T' th' right will keep th' messages on th' screen long. Ye can choose a value between 0.1 seconds and 1.0 seconds per word.
Text Color
If a text color be not explicitly defined by a message, this text color will be used. Th' Default be 50% gray with 50% opacity.
Background Color
If a background color be not explicitly defined, this background color will be used. Th' default be transparent.
Vertical Position Indicator
When autoscrollin' be occurrin' or when a section be selected, it may be difficult t' judge where ye be located in a song. Arrr, OnSong uses a colored line on th' left side o' th' screen t' indicate th' relative position o' th' chord chart at th' given time! Th' shape will align with th' approximate place in th' song accordin' t' th' lyrics and chords.
Renderer
These options dictate how OnSong displays content in th' song viewer. Ye can adjust these options t' help improve performance on older devices or fer certain kinds o' content, ye scallywag.
Screen
This section controls both th' background o' th' song viewer which be known as th' desk, as well as borders t' be placed around th' virtual paper onto which yer music be drawn.
Sections
Th' song viewer displays sections o' lyrics and chords that can be interacted with usin' screen touches, foot pedals, and other actions. This section controls section selection appearance as well as how th' song viewer scrolls t' selected sections.
Zoom and Position
This section controls how th' viewer zooms in and out, Ahoy!
- Minimum Zoom Scale prevents th' song viewer from bein' zoomed out beyond a certain point. Ye can adjust this t' prevent zoomin' out, or t' zoom out further.
- Maximum Zoom Scale prevents th' song viewer from bein' zoomed in beyond a certain point. Ye can adjust this t' prevent zoomin' by settin' it t' 100%, or t' allow further scalin'.
- Remember Zoom/Position be deprecated as it remembers th' last known scale and position o' th' song viewer which be rarely what ye want t' save fer each song. Ye should use Viewports instead, matey.
