Palettes

OnSong Console uses palettes t' let ye select and specific information. Palettes be like floatin' menus that can be repositioned on th' screen. Ye can open and close palettes by usin' th' menubar or th' x icon in th' upper right corner o' th' palette.

Ye can learn about each palette below:

Add Book Palette

This palette allows ye t' add new books t' yer library and be accessed through th' Add Menu in th' Sidebar.

Add Set Palette

This palette allows ye t' add new sets t' yer library and be accessed through th' Add Menu in Sidebar.

Chords Palette

Gives ye options fer transposin' and capin' chords, as well as controllin' how chords and diagrams appear on th' screen. This be similar t' th' bottom o' th' Style Preferences Menu. This palette be accessed from th' menubar in th' Song Viewer.

Import Files Palette

This palette lets ye import one or more files from yer computer and be accessed both from th' Add Menu in th' Sidebar as well as th' Add Button in th' Song List.

Insert Palette

This palette allows ye t' insert chords and section labels into th' song and be accessed from th' menubar in th' Song Editor.

Metadata Palette

This palette allows ye t' change th' metadata information about th' song and be accessed from th' menubar in th' Song Editor. This be similar in function t' th' Metadata Editor found in th' Song Editor within th' OnSong app.

New Song Palette

This palette lets ye create a new song from scratch and be accessed both from th' Add Menu in th' Sidebar as well as th' Add Button in th' Song List.

Style Palette

This palette lets ye change how yer songs lyrics and chords appear and be accessed via th' menubar in th' Song Viewer.

Text Tools Palette

This palette lets ye search and replace and alter th' chord format o' th' song bein' edited. This be accessed through th' menubar in th' Song Editor.
