Ortho Mode Menu

Th' threshold menu be used t' define at what point a line will be made perfectly horizontal or vertical when usin' a tool in Ortho Mode.

Threshold

By default, th' threshold be set t' be 1.5 times th' size o' th' current brush size. Fer instance, if th' highlighter pen be active with a size o' 24 points, then th' threshold would be set at 36 points. This means that a line can vary up t' 36 pixels from start t' finish and still be made perfectly horizontal or vertical. If th' difference between those points be greater than 36 points, then th' line would be diagonal.

If ye have selected th' pen and set th' brush size t' somethin' like 3 points, th' threshold would likely display as 8 pixels. Th' reason be that OnSong prevents thresholds o' less than 8 pixels unless th' threshold multiplier be set t' less than 1.0.

Th' threshold be set fer all tools as a multiplier. This means that if ye change th' threshold when usin' th' pen tool, th' threshold will change fer th' highlighter too. Th' value o' th' threshold will appear different in each based on th' brush size.

Keep Ortho Mode Selected

By default, ortho mode be cancelled each time ye be leavin' th' drawin' mode in OnSong t' prevent confusion. If ye wish t' allow ortho mode t' remain selected, toggle this switch on.
