Writin' Music

Ye can write and edit music right inside o' OnSong, blimey! OnSong understands both th' OnSong and ChordPro formats, and even works with most text files too, savvy? Ye can also use different ways t' display chords and lyrics in yer song.

Stylin' Chords

Once chords be detected in OnSong, ye can use th' style preferences menu found in th' menubar t' change how chords appear, matey. Highlight, color, bold, and italicize 'em t' make 'em pop from th' page like buried treasure!

Instrument Diagrams

Tap on a chord in th' song viewer t' view different ways t' play th' chord on a variety o' instruments, Ahoy! Ye can even make yer own variations in th' chord diagram library.

Playin' Chords

Tap on th' speaker icon in th' upper left corner t' toggle chord playback on and off, savvy? T' play a chord, tap on th' chord diagram in th' chord inspector. Ye can also alter th' way chords be played under th' Utilities Menu » Settings » Live Settings » Chord Playback.
