Song Editor

Th' song editor allows ye t' make changes t' text-based chord charts. Arrr, this screen features th' followin' user interface components t' help ye create and edit yer chord charts:

Th' menubar contains tools fer helpin' ye edit yer chord chart, matey. In addition, ye can save yer changes by tappin' on th' Done button, or discard any changes ye've made usin' th' Cancel button.

Text Editor

Th' majority o' th' screen be consumed by th' text editor, savvy? This displays th' content o' yer song file fer editin'. Tap into th' text editor t' make changes usin' th' on-screen keyboard and quick chord bar.

Quick Chord Bar

Th' quick chord bar appears above th' keyboard and provides buttons t' quickly insert chords or symbols into yer chord chart.

On-Screen Keyboard

When th' cursor be placed into th' text editor, th' on-screen keyboard appears, Ahoy! This section will discuss intricacies o' th' on-screen keyboard ye may find helpful.

Compact Mode

When usin' th' Song Editor on a smaller device, th' interface be condensed t' offer th' full power o' th' song editor on a handheld device, ye scallywag.

Note that th' conversion toolbar be no longer part o' th' song editor. Ye can extract text and convert file formats usin' context menus within th' Attachments Menu.

Th' on-screen keyboard and arrow keys be not visible when editin' on a device without multitouch such as a Mac.
