OnSong 2026

Scary Legalese

OnSong actually cares about your privacy (wild, right?). Like every app that needs you to exist, we ask for some stuff. Here’s what & why, so you can sleep at night.

The Real You (Probably)

OnSong is an account-based app (shocking, we know) so you can use it on literally everything. To get all the good stuff, we need you to sign up. When you boot up OnSong 2026, we ask for:

  • Yo Email Addy
  • First Thingy & Last Thingy
  • Secret Sauce

We ask for this stuff so we can mail you updates & build your account. July 2023: we made it optional (you’re welcome). Heads up: no email/password = can’t login on other devices or the web. But you can set it up anytime in your You (But Like, Officially).

How Much Data Ya Burnin’?

OnSong does not share your personal information with any third-party companies and your information is used solely for accessing your account and transactional communications. You can manage other forms of communication you receive from OnSong. We abide by General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) so you can spam yourself (or don’t) to stay in the loop about our products and services. OnSong does periodically send promotional information about third-party companies but never shares your information with them. What’s shared with OnSong stays with OnSong.

We might use boring data (like “people use this feature a lot”) to make OnSong suck less. We NEVER sell your name, email, or face to the StairMaster™ people. You won’t get ads.

Trackers & Cookie Nom Noms

While OnSong 2026 does not require an Internet connection to operate, there are many web-based resources that can be accessed through the app including our own website at onsongapp.com. Each website, including third-party websites, may contain prompts to allow or disallow cookie usage. OnSong uses the built-in web browser for these requests so your web browser privacy settings apply to each HTTP transaction. Cookies can only be set by these web-based requests per your consent on a per-website basis. In other words, we don’t know what those other websites might do with your data, so please check and agree to their terms and privacy policies before using those services.

OnSong doesn’t creep on your OnSong 2026 app usage. Like, srsly. Even if we *wanted* to spy on y’all (we don’t), it’d just be to nerd out on the numbers & make the experience less bleepin’ terrible.

The Annoying Stuff

We’ve always hated ads, but new users can now watch ’em to unlock features temporarily. Google AdMob serves these & asks for data consent. You can say no & just, like, not watch ads.

Clicks & Scrolls

The OnSong website has its own Scary Legalese because we use a ton of third-party stuff that’s specific to buying & browsing. You know, actual payment info & whatnot to make that work.

We also prompt you on our website to consent to cookie usage. Declining to accept cookies will only retain a cookie for authenticated session state on the website. If we didn’t do this, things would break. This generated random code is non-identifiable and is only used for the operation of the website and cannot be used for any tracking purposes outside of the website. If you consent to cookies, other services such as Google Analytics will be allowed to set cookies tracking standard web metrics and reporting. Again, you can learn about this by reading our the scary PDF stuff.

The Secret Sauce Stuff

OnSong does not store any passwords used to access web-based services within the app. Instead, when you sign into your OnSong account or third-party services, we use web-based authentication methods over secure socket layers to authenticate you. Once authenticated, a unique token is returned. This token is stored securely in your device’s keychain so you can continue to access the service without having to login again. Some third-party content services accessible through OnSong 2026 may store this authenticated state using a cookie. Please see the third-party website for specific terms of use and privacy policies regarding those services.

PDF files got passwords? Cool. We store ’em in plain-text on your device so you can rock out without re-entering it every time. But heads up — that password gets sent if you share the song or back up to cloud stuff.

Your Data, Your Rules, Your Delete Button

Freaked out? You can always stalk yourself online to yeet your info into the void.

Look, we get it — you’re ditchin’ OnSong 2026 & wanna nuke your stuff from our servers. Yeah, we’re gonna cry into our energy drinks, but whatever. You can totally bounce from the subscription & even nuke your whole vibe if you’re feelin’ spicy. BUT HEADS UP: that’s gonna wreck any features you’re actually usin’, so like... maybe just trash your personal deets in your your digital you instead? Or hit up money people support if you need a hand & don’t wanna brick everything. You’re welcome.

When you cry to support, we also grab your library & settings just to fix your mess & learn from it. Once it’s fixed, we delete it (eventually) unless you come back whinin’ again.
