Adjust Whitespace
When ye enter chords above lyrics, chords be aligned t' lyrics underneath. If there be no lyrics t' align with, th' chords be spaced usin' a standard space character. Turnin' on th' adjust whitespace switch will replace space characters with a different character when measurin'. This helps t' compensate fer th' relatively narrow space character. Default be off.
Adjusted Space Character
If adjust whitespace be turned on, an underscore character be used as a proxy fer th' width o' space characters. Ye can change which character be substitute t' fine-tune adjust th' width. Default be an underscore character.
Tab Spaces
Tabs be particularly problematic when makin' text-based chord charts, arrr! This be because a tab character can have different meanin' dependin' on th' text editor or viewer. OnSong replaces tab characters with a series o' spaces t' avoid this issue. Options include between 0 and 20 space characters. Default be 8.
Trim Whitespace
If this option be turned on, th' whitespace at th' beginnin' and end o' lines o' text be removed. Default be on.
