OnSong® Charts
OnSong® Charts is a growing library of professionally transcribed chord charts you can search and import right inside OnSong — no more building every song from scratch. It’s a subscription service, and you can browse and preview everything for free before you subscribe. Here’s how it works:
OnSong® Charts is available in select regions and requires an OnSong account. Browsing and previewing are free; importing charts requires an OnSong® Charts subscription.
Searching and Browsing
At the top of the screen, choose how you want to find charts:
- Top 100 — the most-used charts, ready to browse without searching.
- Title — search and browse by song title.
- Artist — search and browse by artist.
Each result shows the song’s title with its artist and key beneath it. You can tap to select the song for import if you are signed in. Otherwise, you'll see the preview screen.
Preview
Tap the eye icon on a row to open the preview screen. This will show you how the chart will look in the OnSong® app. However since you have not downloaded the chart, the lyrics will be obfuscated until you have selected it for download.
Importing
Tap songs to place a checkmark on the ones you want, then tap Import in the top corner. OnSong downloads each one straight into your library. A counter at the bottom shows how many imports you have left this month, and any chart you’ve already imported appears dimmed so you don’t grab it twice.
Requesting
While OnSong® Charts has thousands of mainstream and popular charts, we don't have everything. If you search for a song and cannot find it, OnSong® Charts displays a button to request the chart.
If you haven’t subscribed yet, the button reads Sign Up instead, and a summary of what’s included appears. OnSong Charts is $10 USD per month, with up to 1,000 imports a month.
